In-kind Donations

There are several ways you can assist the Knoxville Volunteer Emergency
Rescue Squad, Inc. and their mission.  Examples are listed below:

*  Help our Support Team provide rehab to other agencies like
firefighters, law enforcement officers, and community events.  The
Support Team can accept donations of bottled water, Gatorade, high
protein snacks like peanut butter crackers, individually wrapped beef
jerky, power bars, boxes of frozen Smuckers peanut butter & jelly
sandwiches, coffee, hot chocolate, propane cylinder refills, etc.  This
team can also use the donation of a small freezer.  

*  Help support our Heavy Team by providing assistance with refurbishing
a beverage type trailer for transport of structural collapse equipment.
Refurbishing needs include sandblasting and repainting trailer with
minor body repair.  This trailer also needs tires.  

*  Help support our Water Rescue Team by providing maintenance on boat
motors, donation of dive equipment, donation of a water craft, certified
air tank refills, certified yearly maintenance inspection of regulators,
or double AA batteries for dive flashlights.  

*  Help support our crews by providing assistance with minor building
repairs like inspection and cleaning of our building fireplace or paint,
paint brushes, rollers or labor to re-paint our facility.  Donation of
Xerox paper, pens, note pads, new window blinds.  Our West Station is in
need of materials, skills and/or labor to construct an enclosed double
garage or carport for 2 response trucks.

These examples above are just a few suggestions of ways you can assist
the Knoxville Volunteer Emergency Rescue Squad, Inc.  If you have ideas
