Water Rescue Specialty Team

The purpose and mission statement of the team is to provide a nucleus of highly-trained special rescue personnel to mitigate situations involving water related search, rescue and recovery without risking the lives of untrained Rescue Squad members and bystanders. These services will be provided to the citizens of Knoxville, Knox County and when resources permit, any County, State or Federal Agency who may call upon this team for support to safely assist with the mitigation of water related emergencies or activities.
